Standing in the centre of a five acre garden in Oxfordshire is a stone Moorish Pavilion inspired by the Alhambra. It features a large main room flooded with natural light from the huge arched windows on all four sides and glass cupola in the roof.
The central stone courtyard is divided into four by water rills and flanked by carved stone pillars in the classic style of all Moorish, Persian and Islamic gardens and courtyards. The four sections are divided by flowing water with a central fountain. Potted lemon and olive trees are on display in the warmer months. White doves live in the coop and fly freely.
Side rooms include a fully stocked catering kitchen and unisex toilet cubicles.
Multiple tables and chairs are available for users.
The setting is a classic English country garden location with formal planted borders, wide lawns, ponds stocked with fish, woodland pathways and sweeping views out to the Cotswold hills. So, you have two locations in one!
Access is across lawns. Vehicles can get to within 80 metres of the Pavilion.
