Set on a secluded private road, this Art Deco location home is split into two interconnecting parts, both or either of which are available to hire for film and photography shoots. Built in 1929, it was originally designed as an exhibition house for Ideal Home and was once owned by piano legend Russ Conway.
With its combination of original Art Deco features, architectural curves, distinctive green glazed tile roof and eclectic mid century interior, Sandy Shore offers an abundance of settings for photography and film shoots.
The decor has been carefully curated to include a rich mix of colour and texture, using original mid century and 1970’s Italian designed furniture, lighting, art, textiles and plants.
With it’s interconnecting rooms and expansive living areas, Sandy Shore’s internal layout lends itself perfectly to photography and filming, opening up the opportunity to shoot at a comfortable distance from one room to another with enough space to use a range of lenses.
Sandy Shore also has over night accommodation available for up to four guests (part 2), off street parking for up to four cars (plus free on street parking nearby and further off street parking available for larger shoots). The location can also provide a selection of props and a range of classic and American cars for hire. Professional studio flash lighting and equipment is also available to hire on site if required and for an additional charge.
Nearest Rail: Broadstairs Station - 15 minutes walk, or 5 mins by taxi.
Parking: 4x spaces in the driveway, plus free parking in the direct vicinity of the house.
